Set down those red cups and have your fingers at the ready, ladies. It’s time. Time to click the ‘Add To Cart’ button, of course!
The most anticipated weekend in retail has finally come back round again and everyone is positively buzzing about Cyber Weeekend sales on items they’ve been coveting and Christmas presents for loved ones. While its lovely to treat yourself to those ‘right here right now’ items like those burgundy boots that have annoyingy never dipped in price until this very minute, I think that it is important to plan ahead when it comes to the Cyber Weekend Sales.
My big Cyber Weekend shopping secret appeals to my inner Monica from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. It does involve a fair amount of planning in advance, but like I’ve mentioned before, I like that. I make a list of all of the events and festivites between now and this time next year – weddings, birthdays, Christmas and NYE parties, etc. As far as I can, anyway. Its impossible to predict everything. But for all the events I know are booked in advance, I make it a point to buy not only outfits for them but presents for anyone I need to gift during the Cyber Weekend sales, as well. The Cyber Weekend sales are a great time to stock up on everything from appliances or decor items for friends getting married to rattles for babies being born, to the perfect hat to wear at your best friend’s wedding.
This year, I’m expanding my Cyber Weekend shopping to potential holidays as well. Now, my normal shopping strategy for vacation clothes is to buy cheap items from the high street because I know I won’t wear them beyond those few days of holiday every summer. However, this year, I learned the hard way that good quality holiday and beachwear is essential, too. A strap broke off my sandal when I was out exploring in Lindos and one of my high street swimsuits just didn’t ‘keep everything in place’, if you know what I mean. Which made a relaxing day on the beach a stressful one because I was constantly trying to adjust my swimsuit to make sure I hadn’t flashed anybody while I was reapplying my sunscreen.
I happened to discover the Simply Beach website this year and was not only impressed by the styles and brands they carried, but was really happy with the high quality retailers they stocked and the quality of the products I received. Well-fitting swimwear and good quality flip flops that don’t snap when walking on dry sand make all of the difference when it comes to ensuring your holiday is as stress-free as you’ve paid for it to be.
However, good quality items can sometimes be a liiittle on the pricey side. But thanks to the Cyber Weekend sales, they have up to 50% off on incredibe quality (and often designer) swim and beach brands like Melissa Obadash, Ted Baker, Seafolly, Stella McCartney and Watercult. Making this the perfect opportunity for me to stock up on a few bits for my friend’s beach wedding at a resort in Turkey next summer. The Ted Baker swimsuit I had in mind specifically for my friend’s wedding is now at 50% off, along with a few other pieces I’ve been eyeing for that holiday that are heavily discounted.
My favourite things about shopping with them is that (a) they’re quite size inclusive and stock pieces for mid-size and plus babes. (b) I know that everything I buy from the site is good quality and that I can wear it for years. (c) this is a great opportunity to try out a bikini if you’ve always been shy as they have loads of high waisted bikinis that are perfect for bikini beginners.
Sharing a few of my favourite items below that are heavily reduced in the Cyber Weekend sales.
All of the items pictures above can be found at their Cyber Week Sale until the 26th of November at 11.59pm. Happy Shopping!
