Looking Back On A Glorious Autumn

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the most optimistic person and god help me, I love a good old-fashioned moan. But after 2017’s far-from-perfect summer, I decided to change my mindset walking into Autumn, and I’m pleased to report that it has been positively glorious. I decided to embrace positivety, practice forgiveness and let go of relationships that were bringing me down. In the process, I’ve made room for wonderful new things to come into my life and have been able to embrace them with open arms.

Autumn has been my favourite time of year since I moved to the UK, and I’m happy to say that I’ve made my through 82.4% of the bucket list I made at the start of the season (yes, I calculated. Yes, I am a loser). And while I never did get round to trying a Pumpkin Spiced Latte, I suppose there’s always that to look forward to next year. In the meantime, I thought I’d share some of my favourite memories from Autumn with you. Y’know, just in case you were interested / nosy / wanted to see some cool pictures.

So there you have it. If you think 2017 hasn’t been your year, you can always change things around if you put your mind to it and actively make decisions to do things differently. And while a new year is right round the corner, hoopefully my transition from a challenging summer to the best Autumn ever is proof that you don’t really need to wait for a new year, a new season is just as exciting, fresh and good a time as any to switch it up. I’m looking forward to shifting gears into winter, celebrating Christmas with family and friends and sharing lots of exciting Christmas content with you guys this month. Stay tuned and see you at the next post!
