Dhoti Pants

What do you wear when you have about five thousand things to do everyday and feel like your to-do list is about as long as the Great Wall Of China? Share it with me in the comments below! Until then, wish me luck – I’ll see you at the next post!

Oh, its good to be back in the Bay! Only this time its a little bit more special than usual because the weather is just gorgeous – better than I’ve experienced in Bombay for a long time, one of my best friends is getting married, and James is accompanying me to the wedding in Goa as my handsome date!

However, this does mean a fair amount of shopping, errand-running, co-ordinating of logistics and organising all our outfits for the wedding, especially as James has never worn Indian clothes before and a few of my favourite Indian outfits that I was banking on wearing were lost when we moved home.

On top of all of this, I’ve been trying to care for my mum who has been a little unwell lately, attend as many events and business meetings as I can with some exciting projects on the pipeline for the end of my trip, spend time with both, the hub and friends I haven’t seen in the past six months and squeeze in a little salon time. At this rate, I’ll have to go back to Manchester to get a holiday from this holiday!

I’ve been keeping my cool by staying hydrated with coconut water (I just can’t get enough of the stuff!) and keeping on top of my never-ending to-do list in comfy, fuss-free off-shoulder tops, culottes, dhoti-style pants and metallic sandals.
